It's suggested to keep traditional Panettone in a warm place, at least one hour before serving and to strew it with icing sugar. Soft, light, fluffy loaf cake in tall star shape, it is perfect to serve during the holidays or for a special occasion. Traditionally Italian Panettone is vertically sliced using a serrated knife and should not be heated before serving, but does, especially in the winter, benefit from a few minutes in a warm place, like in front of an open oven or on top of a radiator.
